One-off Dev Inc. · Breathe Free
Privacy Policy
Effective October 14, 2026
In short, we don’t collect any data. Breathe Free has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. The apps don’t connect to the internet, and the browser version and these pages use no cookies.
Who we are
Breathe Free is made by One-off Dev Inc. (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Breathe Free apps for Mac and Android, the browser version at one-off.dev/breathe-free/web, and the Breathe Free pages on one-off.dev.
What we collect
Nothing. We don’t ask for your name, your email address or anything else about you, and nothing you do in Breathe Free is sent to us or to anyone else.
The apps
- The Mac app runs in Apple’s app sandbox with network access switched off, so it can’t connect to the internet.
- The Android app asks for one permission, vibration, for “Vibrate at each change”. It has no internet permission, so it can’t send anything anywhere.
- Neither app uses your microphone, camera, location, contacts or photos.
- The sky’s colours come from your device’s clock and time-zone setting, worked out on the device. Your location is never used.
- Voice guidance plays a recording that comes with the app. The app never records you.
- Your choices (session length, sound, Voice guidance, vibration and volume) are saved on your device so they’re there next time, and they stay there. Deleting the app deletes them. If you back up your device, for example to your Google account on Android or with Time Machine on a Mac, the backup may include them, under that service’s terms. We never see them.
The browser version and these pages
They use no cookies, analytics or advertising, load nothing from any other company, and store nothing in your browser. The sky follows your browser’s clock and time zone, worked out in your browser.
Like every website, one-off.dev is run by a hosting provider, Vercel. When your browser asks for a page, Vercel receives what every request carries, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page asked for, and may keep it in its logs for a short time to run and protect the service. We don’t use it to identify you, and we don’t sell or share it.
App stores
If you get Breathe Free from the Mac App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google handles the download, and any purchase, under its own privacy policy. They don’t pass us personal information about you. They may show us anonymous totals, such as how many people downloaded the app, and crash reports if you’ve chosen to share them with developers. None of that identifies you.
Children
Anyone can use Breathe Free. We don’t collect personal information from anyone, so we don’t collect it from children either.
Your rights
Laws such as Europe’s GDPR and California’s CCPA give you rights over the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none about you, so there’s nothing to see, correct, export or delete, and we don’t sell or share personal data.
If this changes
If a future version of Breathe Free ever needs data, we’ll update this policy and its date before that version is released, and say so in the release notes. How you may use Breathe Free is in the Terms of Service.
